SPECTROGRAM

In 2006, MMF AB comissioned the architects Claesson Koivisto Rune to design a new rölakan collection, with the idea
of a future classic in mind. The rug collection is called SPECTROGRAM and takes its inspiration from digital sound.
The rugs are called: Broadband, Sea Trout and Satellite Landing on a Planet.
In 2011 the rug collection was extended by the design Brodband Oriental.

A spectrogram is the graphic image of a created sound. The energy amount of different frequencies over a certain period,
creates pixels on a twodimensional surface. Watch the film SPECTROGRAM at the bottom of this page.
