Used with care, rugs and fabrics from Märta Måås-Fjetterström will last almost indefinitely.


Instructionsfor the care of rugs are included in the purchase. The instructions explain for example, that rugs should be vacuum-cleaned but that one should avoid vacuuming the fringes; that one can brush the rug from time to time – with snow in the winter! – but should not beat rugs. Do not wash your rug unless it is really necessary. The natural fat in the wool repels dust. And do not forget to turn the rug round from time to time so that it wears as evenly as possible.




Regardless of how carefully one looks after rugs and fabrics, in due course they will begin to show the marks of time. They can then be returned to MMF AB for inspection, refringing and cleaning. The work is carried out by our own staff who have both the materials and the expertise necessary to preserve the value of the rug. A certificate of renovation is issued as a guarantee when the work has been completed.
